7-Zip

File archiver with a high compression ratio with self-extracting capability for 7z format and strong AES-256 encryption in 7z and ZIP formats.
Supported formats:

  • Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR
  • Unpacking only: RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZH, CHM, MSI, WIM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS

    • Setps to include 7-Zip to use with BartPE:
    1. Download the EXE-file and intsall it.
    2. Copy files from the installed files in the "\7-ZipPortable\App\7-Zip" directory to the "plugin\7-Zip\files" directory.
    3. If you don't use the installed version uninstall it.
