Intetion of the Rescue Boot System is to provide a flexible boot medium enabling to anaylse and maintain PC based hardware and Windows installations keeping exisiting OS installation untouched during the boot process.
A major feature is flexibility in terms of adapting supported pc hardware (driver), functionality (software) and boot medium (CD, USB-Device).
The tool is dedicated to save, restore or repair data on digital strorage devices, hardware testing, TCP/IP network administration and operating PC-hardware without using regular boot configuration.

More over the RBS can be used to support forensic activities such as determining changes or securing of evidence.
